Full-time; on-site opportunity.
Salary offers starting at $68,000 - $75,000 annually based on years of related experience and credentials.

Position Summary Provide overall management of youth's treatment through active engagement, clinical assessment, treatment, and discharge planning. Therapist will provide clinical insight and work from a trauma informed lens to enhance the milieu and programming. Engage with families through family therapy and treatment planning. Collaborate with the community and providers related to the youth's progress and discharge planning.
Responsibilities
Creates and drives a trauma-informed environment
Collaboration with youth and family to work with a team and develop a Nexus Individual and Family Guidance Plan
Engage in and have active involvement of the Family Collaborative Intake meetings
Complete Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) functional assessment in accordance with the TCOM (collaborative) principals
Provide brief, individualized, youth-focused, strength and evidenced-based family and individual therapy models with youth and families.
Participate in all youth related treatment team meetings
Assess readiness for discharge in conjunction with the treatment team
Coordinate/communicate aftercare needs of the client with family and all necessary social service and community providers to ensure a smooth transition
Communicate with the treatment team to include all desired and necessary family members, educational, legal, community, and social service providers (as well as all-natural supports that the youth and family identify) to gather all necessary information to inform and support the treatment process
Ensures that all required client reports, records, and all documentation are produced accurately and maintained in a consistent, timely, and professional manner according to policy and regulated statutes.
Required Education and Licensure
Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences, human services, social work, marriage & family therapy, psychology, counseling, or clinically related fields
If currently unlicensed and clinical licensure is required in your state:
Must be on track to complete licensure for a specific, related discipline
And/or currently holds a provisional/intermediary license for a specific track (i.e. LGSW, LMSW, LAMFT or LPC)
In Illinois: Must have or be willing to obtain an LASOP license within 3 months of hire.
Valid driver's license required. Must meet state regulating agency and Nexus Home Office driving requirements
Nice to Have
LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LCPC or equivalent professional licensure for a masters' level clinically related field strongly preferred
2 years of adolescent counseling and/or residential experience
Previous experience with trauma treatment and experience serving a culturally diverse population
