Job Overview This part‑time position ( Responsibilities
Address the physical and emotional needs of persons served.
Make effective decisions in emergencies and lead staff in assigned tasks.
Provide academic guidance and follow established policies and procedures.
Carry out teaching or treatment plans and accurately observe and report behavior.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with staff and persons served.
Provide work direction to staff regarding methods to assist individuals with developmental disabilities.
Prepare routine reports.
Qualifications
Experience implementing teaching plans for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of basic social and human behavior principles.
Familiarity with safety procedures and practices.
Basic health care and protective health measures.
Ability to address the physical and emotional needs of persons served.
Benefits Veterans’ Preference is available. The position is not eligible for SDRS benefits, but workforce eligibility includes an I‑9 verification and E‑Verify.
