Position Overview Under the supervision of the Radiologist and the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor or Manager, the Radiologic Technologist (Non-Registered) will perform multiple imaging procedures to assist physicians in the detection and diagnosis of disease and injuries. This role is located at Providence Newberg Medical Center and supports a patient‑focused, whole‑person care culture.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including X‑ray and other diagnostic modalities.

Follow established protocols and maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients through accurate imaging.

Collaborate with the radiology team and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment and report any issues.

Required Qualifications

Oregon Temporary Limited X‑Ray Machine Operator Permit from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.

National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Valid radiologic technologist license or equivalent qualification.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
