Lab Technician, DEWALT Anchors and Fasteners
Join Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. as a Lab Technician for our DEWALT Anchors and Fasteners division. This on‑site role supports engineering and marketing by testing anchoring products in an active laboratory environment.

Who You Are You are a hands‑on multitasker eager to support internal and external test requests. You will conduct mechanical and adhesive product tests, including installations into concrete, masonry, and steel.
Responsibilities
Perform hands‑on testing of anchoring products.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (hydraulic pumps, direct fastening tools, percussion hammer drills, commercial construction equipment).
Create final test reports in Excel and file them into the database.
Conduct metallurgical testing (steel tensile, Rockwell, Vickers micro‑hardness) and sample preparation.
Prepare concrete pour and cylinder specimens and perform tests.
Operate forklift (on‑site training available).
Set up and monitor environmental corrosion testing.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Qualifications
High‑school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years in a hands‑on technical environment.
Mechanical/technical aptitude and willingness to get hands dirty.
Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
Knowledge of construction standards (ASTM, ACI, ICC‑ES) is a plus.
Prior construction industry experience is a plus.
