Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a day‑shift Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 1 year of recent L&D experience and a valid MS or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00
Assignment length is 8 weeks
No local travelers permitted within a 50‑mile radius
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care to laboring patients and assisting with deliveries
Requests for time off must be less than 1 week
Orientation provided at the beginning of the assignment
Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled
No Canadian Social Insurance Numbers accepted
Recent travelers with prior CHS perm status within the last 2 years will not be considered
Requirements
Active MS or compact RN license required at time of consideration
At least 1 year of recent, relevant Labor & Delivery experience
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
