Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting. Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans. Administer medication and treatments. Initiate CPR and other emergency measures. Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings. Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment. Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families. Cover other nursing roles within the department. May require travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures in various locations. Minimum Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within six months of hire One year of recent experience as an RN or LPN, Medical Assistant or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area Experience with IV access and infusions Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) Physical Requirements

Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye‑hand coordination. Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range. May require some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids. Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly (constant: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Job rated Light Work when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree, sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls, or when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight is negligible. Personal Protective Equipment

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures. Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $31.50 Maximum hourly: $49.90 The pay range reflects anticipated range for new hires and does not include shift differentials, overtime, or the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package.
