Additionally, the candidate may be expected to work at the associated rock plant or asphalt plant as needed.Essential Job Accountabilities* Production drilling for approximately 900 hours per year.* Loading shots approximately 300 hours per year* Rock plant and asphalt clean up and/or maintenance as needed up to 800 hours per yearKnowledge, skills, and abilities* Experience operating an Atlas Copco or D7 or similar drill.* Blasting license from the State of California* Certificate of Eligibility from the State of California* Ability to become an Authorized User as determined by the ATFEWork Experience* 4 years of experience blasting at a mine sitePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, bend, lift and use body to perform physical labor. The employee must lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
