Our client, a growing equipment rental company, is seeking a
Heavy Equipment Mechanic
to join their service team in
Eastern Pennsylvania . This full‑time role is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of rental equipment, including aerial lifts, tracked equipment, trucks, and other heavy machinery. This is a Monday–Friday position (7 AM–5 PM) with opportunities to grow in a supportive, team‑focused environment. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel, gas, propane, and hydraulic systems Perform maintenance on electrical systems (12/24/48 volt) and heavy trucks/automotive equipment Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics to troubleshoot effectively Conduct inspections and ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and rental‑ready Maintain accurate work orders using basic computer systems Communicate with team members, vendors, and manufacturers for technical support Follow safety procedures and contribute to a team‑oriented work environment Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with heavy equipment, diesel engines, and hydraulics Strong troubleshooting and technical skills with fuel, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid inspection license a plus Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly (and occasionally up to 75 lbs.) and climbing on equipment as needed Equal Opportunity Employer All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
