to join our Stone Shop
and Mill Department . The Machine Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating production equipment to cut, shape, and prepare materials for cabinet and countertop fabrication. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, production efficiency, and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. Set up machines for daily production runs, ensuring correct tools, materials, and calibrations are used. Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or irregularities, making adjustments as needed. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet production specifications. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets. Follow all safety policies and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Maintain organized and efficient workflow in accordance with company standards. Qualifications: Previous experience operating manufacturing or woodworking machinery preferred. Experience in cabinet, countertop, or stone fabrication a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to read and follow work orders, diagrams, and measurements accurately. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment. Willingness to learn new equipment and processes as needed.
