Compensation:
$29–$39/hr · Pay is based on experience and certifications
Schedule:
Full-time · Monday–Friday · 8:30am – 5:00pm · Rotating Saturdays 8am-12pm
Tri-State Bobcat is looking for a reliable, experienced diesel mechanic who takes pride in doing quality work the right way. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, safety-minded technician who works well independently and wants long-term stability, strong support, and opportunities to grow with new equipment and technology.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair a wide range of compact construction and heavy equipment
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure top-notch performance
Order parts and maintain inventory as needed for repairs
Communicate job progress with the service manager and ensure customer satisfaction
Inspect and test equipment after repairs are completed
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of work orders, parts, and labor
Uphold safety standards and keep your work area organized and efficient
Participate in company-paid training to stay current with new equipment and technology updates (including limited out-of-state training)
Qualifications
Previous experience as a mechanic in diesel engine repair and service
Experience with hydraulic/hydrostatic systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting
Experience operating Bobcat or similar compact construction equipment
Strong computer skills for diagnostics and record-keeping
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent time management skills and a commitment to completing jobs on schedule
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and perform other physical tasks in various work environments
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
