Animal Emergency Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team where we provide exceptional emergency medicine and treatment to our surrounding communities. Since we are Emergency and Triage based, you will see a wide variety of urgent, emergent, and surgical cases. We also perform a variety of life‑saving treatments including blood transfusions, emergent surgeries, oxygen therapy, and advanced pain management. While saving lives, you’ll have many resources at your fingertips including:

IDEXX digital radiology & reference laboratory

IDEXX in‑house laboratory including ProCyte, Sedevue, Catalyst, Coag and Heska Blood Gas Analyzer

Butterfly and SonoScape Ultrasound

Multi‑Parameter monitors

Surgical ventilator

Hot Dogs and Bed Jet patient warming systems

Electronic Medical Records

Isolation Ward

Full surgical suite

2 Snyder oxygen units

Not only is AEH AAHA Accredited, and the staff are RECOVER trained! We employ 7 LVTs with experience ranging from 2‑38 years, and all team members are cross trained to take on a multitude of duties. Our CSR staff also have many years of experience in the industry. Our staff take pride in being a positive, team‑oriented culture and in the quality of service we provide to our patients.

Our veterinarians work 3 shifts per week which is considered full time with AEH. We offer weekend and overnight rotations.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) required.

Compassionate, team‑oriented approach.

Ability to lift 40+ lbs.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the veterinary team while upholding medical standards.

Develop and implement medical protocols.

Perform routine and advanced surgeries.

Interpret lab results to support accurate diagnoses.

Educate and build strong relationships with clients.
