Speech and Language Therapist
to join our team at Circle Academy. This role provides direct services to students with speech and language needs in a therapeutic educational setting. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you’ll work closely with students, families, and educational teams to support each child’s communication development and academic success.

Speech and Language Therapist
can make a meaningful impact on each student's academic and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct screenings, diagnostic assessments, and evaluations to determine student needs.
Provide direct speech/language therapy services, including management of articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teachers on strategies to support student goals.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements.
Provide consultation and recommendations to staff and families.
Stay current on best practices and continue professional development as a Speech and Language Therapist.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Illinois Professional Educator License with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
ASHA Certification (CCC‑SLP) required
Knowledge of speech/language development, special education regulations, trauma‑informed care, and behavior management
Experience with RTI/MTSS, early childhood development, autism, and assistive technology preferred
Must be organized, detail‑oriented, and able to communicate effectively across disciplines
Willingness to travel between Urbana and Rossville campuses as needed
What We Offer
Competitive salary based on education and experience ($55,250 - $92,135 per year)
Small class sizes: 10 or fewer students per class
Additional support staff: Two additional support staff (Paraeducator and Teaching Assistant) in every classroom
Tuition Assistance: Support for obtaining LBS1 Certification or Special Education Certification
Relocation Assistance up to $2,500
Summer Income: Opportunity to earn additional income over the summer (31 days at $35/hour)
