Position Details

Full-Time (36 hours per week)

10 Hour Day Shifts - 4 Days per Week: 7:30am-6pm (Mon-Fri)

Extra Pay & Incentives: Premium pay for working weekends and call shifts

Call Rotation Required for Week Overnights & Weekends: Week Overnight Call Rotation (1 shift within one or two weeks): Monday - Thursday 6pm-7:30am & Weekend Call Rotation occurring every 10th or 11th weekend: Friday 6pm to Saturday 8am & Saturday 4pm to Monday 7:30am - Saturdays 0800-1600 3-4 times per year

Siemens Fluoro units, GE Ultrasound, Epic

Responsibilities

Work independently with a multidisciplinary team performing fluoroscopic imaging procedures

Prepare patients and equipment for procedures while assisting the radiologist

Perform image post processing and circulating procedures

Requirements

Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)

Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)

Experience

No IR Tech experience necessary willing to train

Xray techs wanting to cross-train in Interventional Radiology

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities

Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.

Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
