Join #TeamAcenda and make a lasting impact.**Job Overview:**The bilingual counselor supports up to eight families by conducting assessments, facilitating Triple P groups, and providing individualized interventions that strengthen parenting skills, child development, and family functioning. This role also collaborates closely with supervisors, peers, DCP&P, and community providers while completing all required documentation to ensure high-quality, goal-aligned services.As an integrated health organization, Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's.**Program Info**Our Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) enhances the knowledge, skills and confidence of parents; giving parents clear strategies to respond to their children’s needs, create a nurturing environment, and promote attachment. The evidence-based model is implemented individually with families in their homes and in a group setting.**Responsibilities:*** Carry a caseload of up to 8 families* Facilitate 3 Triple P groups annually serving 8 –12 parents per group* Complete assessments of families and children* Aid families in the development of their goals for change and implement and adjust interventions to align with family goals* Conduct sessions with families focusing on child development, managing misbehavior, encouraging independent routine and child play.* Participate in weekly supervision* Collaborate with peers, DCP&P, and other community providers to effectively implement the Triple P individual and group intervention.* Complete necessary documentation required for Triple P and Acenda.**Requirements:*** Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.* At least one year of experience working with families experiencing trauma, mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, homelessness and child abuse and/or neglect.* Ability to facilitate positive interactions and work collaboratively with families.* Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.* Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record.**Additional Information:*** Base rate:
