Postdoctoral Research Associate I (Multiple Positions)
The R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate I in the laboratory of Dr. Xinxin Ding, to study xenobiotic metabolism and toxicity in various target organs. Candidates with background and experience in one or more of the following subject areas are preferred: drug/xenobiotic metabolism, transgenic mouse models, pharmacokinetics, mass spectrometry, genomics and metabolomics, lung diseases (inflammation, fibrosis, and cancer), biomarkers of metabolic activation (DNA and protein adducts), and neurodegeneration.

Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct research, generate and analyze data, and evaluate progress.
Complete data analysis and engage in scientific discussion, hypothesis generation, experimental design, and troubleshooting.
Participate in manuscript preparation, and presenting results at Regional/National/International scientific conferences.
Assist with laboratory management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Verbal and written communication in English
Strong attention to detail skills
Knowledge of hypothesis-driven research
Ability to work in a team
Minimum Qualifications
Recent PhD in pharmacology and toxicology, or related fields
Preferred Qualifications (None stated)
FLSA Status Exempt
Employment Details Full Time, 40 hours per week, 1.0 FTE.
