Embark on a purpose-driven journey as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in Laconia, New Hampshire. This travel assignment invites you to transform daily living for seniors, support families during meaningful moments, and grow your clinical skills within a warm, collaborative team. You’ll blend clinical excellence with heartfelt service, creating stability and trust for residents who rely on thoughtful, consistent care. While you champion quality life for those in your care, you’ll also have the chance to explore New England’s natural beauty—from the tranquil shores of Lake Winnipesaukee to the majestic White Mountains—where autumns glow with color, winters invite snowy adventures, springs breathe fresh energy, and summers offer gentle lake days and scenic hikes. The region’s charm and outdoor opportunities provide a restorative backdrop to a career that thrives on care with purpose.
This assignment sits in a community renowned for its welcoming spirit and robust quality of life, making it an ideal place to grow as an LPN while enjoying the benefits of a flexible travel schedule. Laconia and the surrounding Lakes Region deliver a blend of small-town warmth and access to larger regional centers, ensuring you have both the quiet of a friendly neighborhood and the resources you need nearby. For clinicians who crave variety, this role also opens doors to assignments across the United States, offering the chance to experience diverse facilities, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and expand your professional network while sampling different local flavors, cultures, and community rhythms. You’ll gain resilience and adaptability as you work in facilities with varied patient populations and care models, enriching your clinical perspective while maintaining the support and continuity you rely on.
As an LPN in Long-Term Care, your day-to-day responsibilities will center on skilled, compassionate care that respects residents’ dignity and autonomy. Key duties include administering medications within scope and facility guidelines, monitoring vital signs, assessing changes in condition, and communicating clearly with physicians, therapists, and families. You’ll assist residents with activities of daily living, support mobility and rehabilitation goals, manage wound care and skin integrity, and implement and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team. You’ll help prevent complications through diligent safety and infection control practices, support memory care residents with patience and engagement, and document care accurately to preserve continuity across shifts. Your role will also involve helping families understand care decisions, advocating for residents’ preferences, and contributing to a positive, healing environment where staff teamwork and resident well-being come first. Growth opportunities abound as you demonstrate clinical leadership, pursue specialty trainings in geriatrics or wound care, or transition into charge nurse or mentor roles. With a culture that values curiosity and continuous improvement, you’ll find pathways to broaden your expertise and advance alongside seasoned professionals who share your commitment to high-quality elder care.
Compensation and benefits reflect a comprehensive travel-care package designed to recognize your expertise and support your personal needs. This role offers a competitive weekly pay range of $1,137–$1,206, with the flexibility that comes with travel assignments and the potential for contract extensions. In addition, you’ll review a sign-on bonus and housing assistance designed to reduce relocation stress, along with opportunities to extend your assignment and return for future rotations if you enjoy the experience. You’ll be backed by robust travel support, including a dedicated team providing 24/7 assistance while you’re on assignment, real-time credentialing help, onboarding resources, and ongoing clinical support to ensure you’re never navigating challenges alone. Our program emphasizes consistent, transparent communication about schedules and compensation, with final compensation packages and guaranteed hours to be confirmed during the hiring process. The arrangement is designed to be flexible and responsive to patient needs and your professional goals, with the same emphasis on safety, compliance, and high standards you expect in a trusted healthcare partner.
