Green Valley Therapy, LLC is a woman-owned group practice with a family forward mindset. Our mission is to create a positive impact for individuals and families through a holistic lens of understanding their needs; mind, body and spirit. Our therapists have unique backgrounds that allow them to specialize in a variety of areas and each serve specific clients needs. Green Valley Therapy is seeking 2-3 part-time therapists to work at our New Market, MD or Frederick, MD offices. We are seeking experienced and motivated clinicians to join our private practice. We are specifically looking for individuals who are available to work late afternoon and evening hoursand/orhas a clinical interest and expertise in treating persistent and chronic mental health disorders, including personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and additional complex diagnoses. The ideal candidate for the Specialty Therapist- Complex and Chronic Conditions is passionate about working with individuals experiencing more severe and intensive mental health challenges. They should feel confident in supporting higher-acuity cases and be committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care to clients navigating significant psychological and emotional difficulties. Position Overview: The part-time therapist will provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, incorporating family sessions and parent sessions as appropriate to support treatment goals. The primary objective is to promote healing, emotional growth, and improved functioning by addressing a range of challenges, including behavioral concerns, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Key Responsibilities include: 1. Clinical Services: Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the client's needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans Provide individual therapy based on the specific needs of the client as well as family sessions and parent sessions as needed Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique needs Maintain a caseload of 8-13 client sessions per week. The expectation is that a part-time clinician holds 8 sessions per week, scheduling 13 sessions to allow for cancellations. The clinician is able to work more as desired, but this is the minimum work hours for this position. Collaborate with other professionals such as physicians and medication prescribers to ensure comprehensive care Participate in team meetings and supervision to discuss case progress and treatment approaches 3. Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records in accordance with state regulations and agency policy Document sessions, progress notes, treatment plans, and any correspondence related to the client's care within 72 hours of client contact Stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices and research in the field of psychotherapy Attend mandatory training sessions and pursue additional professional development opportunities 6. Ethical Practice: Adhere to the professional and ethical guidelines set forth by the professional standards (NASW, NBCC, AAMFT). 7. Community Outreach: Create content including blogs that provide knowledge to client base and promote practice recognition within communities Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or equivalent. Clinicians with an LMSW will be considered for the position as well and be provided with clinical supervision toward their independent clinical licensure. However, fully licensed clinicians are preferred for the Specialty Therapist position. Demonstrates experience working with individuals in a clinical setting Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities such as: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Exposure Response Prevention Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Preferred: Specialized training or certifications Fully licensed, LCSW-C or LCPC Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods during therapy sessions Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and photocopiers Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Retirement savings plan with employer matching Maryland Safe and Sick Leave Supportive work environment and team To Apply: Interested candidates should submit this application.
