The product owner serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the technical solutions align with Kestra's business objectives. A successful product owner balances strategy, governance, and implementation, and effectively facilitates productive conversations between all stakeholders — executives, engineers, analysts, product teams, and external customers.

What you’ll Do:

Develop, execute, and communicate your deep understanding of the product vision and strategy, end-to-end data and workflow of Kestra Financial while managing risk and ensuring compliance and regulatory practices.

Identify and build relationships with key partners and stakeholders to communicate product vision, strategies, and priorities while soliciting and incorporating feedback.

Translate the requirements of large initiatives into smaller, actionable pieces that can be delivered in increments and then working to allocate resources for each initiative.

Convert Product vision and voice of client into actionable user stories, technical requirements with artifacts (data mapping, architecture diagrams, user persona etc.) in line with design reviews and outcomes

Identify and resolve sequencing and product task conflicts across stakeholders and product teams.

Participate and monitor production deployment activities.

Documentation and communication of any user experience (or changes where applicable), status reports and release notes to appropriate stakeholders.

Coordinate dependencies with other POs across a portfolio of applications and products.

What You Bring:

5+ years of experience with Agile practices and frameworks to include Scrum, Kanban, etc and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence etc.

Bachelor’s degree in technology (in Computing/Software/Technology related subject) or Business.

Ability to understand and empathize with the perspectives, concerns, and motivations of various stakeholders, including customers, team members, and business partners.

Ability to develop/facilitate technology strategy, operating models, and roadmaps with clear objectives at team and product level.

Proven ability to facilitate and drive requirements gathering and prioritization discussions

Well-versed in Product-led approach, Agile methodology and routines such as Scrum and Kanban, Strategic Planning, and financial product areas.

Internal Application Policy: Internal applicants must be in good standing and have a minimum of 1 year of service with Kestra. Internal applicants must also have a minimum of 1 year service in current role unless approved by EVP.
