Major Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome all customers and set expectations
Custom‑fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses
Act as a leader in optical acumen
Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions
Use technology accurately and efficiently despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and use of appropriate tools
Proactively explore root cause of issues, forward‑think, ensuring customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded; solution‑driven
Manage time with competing priorities – multi‑task, prioritize, and stay organized
Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies
Take pride in store appearance, help keep store clean, attractive, and organized
Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices
Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and eager for continual learning, improvement, and results
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management
Basic Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
State licensure
Optical dispensing experience
Strong customer‑service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder
Knowledge of current store merchandise
Strong basic math skills
Aware of current fashion trends
Sales skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet
Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
Embrace new technology and change
Compensation & Benefits This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
