Mark III takes a big picture approach to the construction process self‑performing electrical, plumbing, processed piping, HVAC, low voltage, underground, pre‑fabrication, and MEP design. Instead of multiple consultants and countless sub‑contractors, the customer works with just one company to eliminate multiple profit layers and complexity of schedules. With an impressive project history in the industrial, commercial, biotechnology, and food‑grade technology industries we are able to perform initial construction, tenant improvements, and remodeling. From construction to service, Mark III has the capabilities to support you from the beginning of your project to preventative maintenance for years after. Mark III Construction, Inc. is seeking certified Electricians for immediate opportunities in the Reno Area. Applicants must have commercial experience, be currently licensed by the State of California, and be able to work with limited supervision.
Qualifications and Traits of a Mark III Electrician:
Current State of California license - Active JW card preferred
Excellent knowledge of NEC
Experience working in a commercial setting 2+ years preferred
Able to work with little supervision
Dependable with reliable transportation
Must be able to read and understand construction documents and schedules
Understands the entire scope of the job
Able to manage portions of projects and be the “right hand” to the Foreman
Capable of forecasting tasks and materials
Must be knowledgeable of relevant codes and regulations
Capable of doing basic take offs
Able to prepare equipment and tool lists
Experience working on large complex projects
Ability to take initiative and be self sufficient
Safety focused at all times
Possess leadership and mentorship skills
Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Able to collaborate with other trades and have the “Power of One” mindset
Brand Ambassador for Mark III Construction
Must have OSHA 10 or 30
Physical Demands:
Required to lift objects weighing up to 25lbs
Required walking for long and short distances, walking from one worksite to another.
Required to perform repetitive motion tasks
Required to pull or push using force
Required to stand for sustained periods of time
Required to bend or twist at the neck and torso
Required to crouching, squatting, stooping, kneeling
Required to use and climb ladders to work from heights
Required to use scissor, boom, and other personnel lifts to access the work area
Required to reach above head
Required to reach forward, grab, grasp, pinching, handle material and tools using upper extremities
Required to lift objects from low to high positions in horizontal to vertical motions
Required to talk, express, or exchange detailed, important information by means of verbal communication.
Constantly Required to hear sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to hear detailed information and distinguish sounds to avoid hazards.
Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
