Certified Nurse Midwife
to join our affiliated partner, River and Coast Women’s Care, serving the growing communities of Northeast Florida.
River and Coast Women’s Care is a well-established, patient-centered group with a strong reputation for compassionate, personalized women’s health. The practice offers comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care with modern facilities and a collaborative team environment.
Position Highlights
Locations: Two office sites – Southside Jacksonville and St. Johns
Hospital affiliations: Deliveries and surgeries performed at Ascension St. Vincent’s Southside and Baptist Medical Center South; and soon to be Ascension St. Vincent’s St. Johns County.
Team structure: 4 Board-Certified OB/GYNs and 6 Certified Nurse Midwives
Call schedule: shared evenly among Nurse Midwives
Patient volume: an average of 20-25 patients per day
Evaluates pregnant and postpartum women including managing all aspects of pre-natal visits
Provide gynecological care including family planning

Requirements
AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
Master’s degree in nursing (MS/MSN)
Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
CPR and NALS Certification
Labor & Delivery experience preferred
