Job Summary: Our compassionate and team oriented Registered Nurse, preferably specializing or has experience in Pain Management, demonstrates superior patient care second to none! The Registered Nurse is responsible for the well-being and care of patients in our Pain Management Clinic. Primary responsibilities include delivering care to patients, providing health education to patients, and working with an interdisciplinary team to create a rehabilitation plan for patients. Our Registered Nurse focuses on providing superior customer service to our patients, while collaboratively communicating with colleagues to provide a team oriented approach and maximize the patient's experience.

Job Duties:
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care
Directs and/or provides professional perioperative nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum
Provides services in accordance with the plan of care
Initiates the plan of care and necessary revisions
Provides those services requiring substantial specialized nursing skills
Prepares clinical and progress notes for each patient visit and summaries of care conferences on his/her patients in a timely manner as per company policy
Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions
Informs personnel of changes in the condition and needs of the patient
Counsels the patient and family/significant others in meeting nursing and related needs
Participates in and presents in-service programs
Understands and adheres to established company policies and procedures
Processes orders and notifies physicians of patient needs and changes in condition. Completes certification/recertification orders and discharge summaries
Determines the amount and type of nursing needed by each individual patient
Conducts patient care conferences on patients assigned to his/her care
Participates in peer review and performance improvement as assigned
Participates in utilization review of medical records as assigned
Gives total patient care as needed
Appropriately utilizes ICD-10 codes
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
An Associate degree from a school of nursing is required, Bachelors degree preferred
Current licensure in the State of Michigan
Current BLS Certification (typo, omitted) [actual list unaffected]
Current ACLS Certification
Ability to relate and work effectively with others
Demonstrated excellent skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
Is aware of professional nursing standards and performs in accordance with them
Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for professional advancement
Detailed oriented, conscientious and committed to precision in work results
Able to coordinate effectively and proactively with medical staff; works well in a team
Able to work with difficult patients compassionately with aim to deliver the highest level of patient care
Exudes respect and flexibility to impact the workplace in a positive manner
Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
Demonstrates enthusiasm and drive
Must be prompt and reliable
