Care Associate – Novant Health Coastal Carolina Hospital
Location: 1000 Medical Center Dr, Hardeeville, South Carolina 29927
Shift: 7pm-7am. Holiday and weekend rotation required.
Status: Full time
Responsibilities
Observe patients 1:1 who need constant observation.
Assist with stocking ED rooms.
Assist with other duties as needed to support the department.
Qualifications
Education: High School or GED (required).
Licensure/Certification: Completion of Novant Health sponsored training program (required). Completion of Novant Health Safety Attendant training (required).
Skills: Must exhibit strong communication skills; ability to write effectively; effective computer skills, and strong customer service skills.
Preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation. Medical Unit Receptionist (MUR) and Safety Attendant duties may be assigned as determined by unit leaders and unit needs. If needed in the MUR role, the Care Associate must be able to perform the MUR skills as indicated in the MUR job description. If needed in the Safety Attendant role, the Care Associate must complete appropriate training and be able to perform the Safety Attendant skills as indicated in the Safety Attendant job description.
