Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing, perform as licensed caregiver and assume responsibility and accountability for assigned residents/patients during a shift.
Coordinate, implement, and evaluate residents’ or patients’ plans of care.
Adhere to standards of care for the area, manage environment to maintain safety, and supervise nursing assistants’ patient care activities.
Follow all Center policies, procedures, and State Nurse Practice Act duties.
Required Education and Experience:
Licensed in the State as an LPN.
Current CPR certification.
Proficiency with necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, trays, medication cart, etc.).
Ability to calculate drug dosage.
Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
Effective communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff.
Read, write, speak, and understand English; basic computer knowledge with willingness to learn company applications.
