Responsibilities
Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient’s response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy
Qualifications
Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist in the state where practicing
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations

Additional Job Information Adoration Home Health / BrightSpring Health Services, an affiliated company that employs individuals working for Adoration, recently acquired certain LHC Group home health and hospice operations. The successful candidate will initially be employed by LHC Group until January 1, 2026 at the latest. All administrative onboarding activities and benefit coverage will be handled by LHC Group. On or before January 1, 2026, employment will transfer to Adoration Home Health / BrightSpring Health Services, where hiring decisions will continue to be made and work supervised under the same standards.
