Work hours: Monday‑Thursday 8:00‑5:00, Friday 8:00‑3:00 (Full‑time, 40 hours/week)
Travel: 25% to surrounding clinics as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Current Medical Assistant Certification (required)
New graduates with completed on‑site externship welcomed
1 year medical assistant experience preferred
Cardiology experience preferred
ACLS or BCLS preferred
Basic computer skills using medical management applications
Effective communication with staff and patients
Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations
Sound judgment in emergency situations
Ability to take appropriate action in urgent circumstances
Positive, customer‑focused attitude toward staff and patients
Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
What You Will Do
Deliver care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
Schedule patients for diagnostic testing and follow up to ensure completion
Document patient plan(s) of care, tests and examination results in the medical record as directed by the provider
Communicate with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures
Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider
Obtain and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, current medications and presenting problem
Perform other duties as assigned by Nurse Manager, senior staff, or healthcare provider(s)
