Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, well‑spoken Veterinarian Technician to assist the Veterinarian with surgeries and procedures, laboratory sample handling, and client communication about treatment plans and medical results. You will work closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well‑being of all pet patients.
Responsibilities
Interview pet owners to obtain a patient history
Take vital signs, acquire blood samples, and place IV catheters
Assist with surgeries and monitor animals after surgery
Administer medications and provide at‑home dosage instructions for clients
Keep accurate patient records
Animal handling and restraint
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician minimum 3 years
Knowledge of animal care, vaccines, medicine, and handling
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi‑task and remain organized in a busy environment
Patience and a love for animals
Salary ranges from $17.00‑$25.00 based on experience
Shift and schedule
Full‑time position working weekends (40 hours)
