Responsibilities
Organize and deliver class objectives clearly.
Foster an orderly, safe environment in classrooms and labs.
Prepare training aids, tools, and equipment.
Maintain curriculum accuracy with up‑to‑date industry standards.
Evaluate student performance via assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
Provide constructive feedback and support for student success.
Identify and report at‑risk students, creating individualized success plans.
Foster relationships to help meet competency requirements.
Provide periodic and ad‑hoc reporting to stakeholders.
Meet with students and education personnel to discuss instruction.
Maintain regular interaction with students in online components.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress.
Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on diagnostic procedures, equipment operation, troubleshooting, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education / Experience
Active, unencumbered Florida RN license.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher; Bachelor’s preferred.
Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (within past 5 years or current competency).
Graduate of a Florida Board of Nursing–approved nursing program or nationally accredited program.
Standard Skills
Demonstrate and explain clinical skills accurately, answering students’ questions confidently.
Present simulations, case studies, and hands‑on training to reinforce learning.
Provide hands‑on training in a variety of clinical procedures.
Specific Skills
Expertise in the instructional area with relevant skills.
Design and deliver engaging content, adapting methods to diverse learning styles.
Build rapport with students, clinical partners, and colleagues.
Adapt to industry advancements and incorporate new knowledge.
Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Commit to ongoing learning and professional growth.

Frequently (≥80% of workday): Use hearing and sight; communicate with students and provide instruction.
Occasionally (≤50%): Use fine‑motor skills to operate computers, manuals, and equipment.

Able and willing to: communicate, think, learn, reason; use computers; safely ambulate; practice active listening; use inductive reasoning; perform judgment, problem‑solving, decision‑making; maintain confidentiality; work fast‑paced with multiple projects; understand and apply information related to essential functions; foster long‑term relationships.
Work Environment
Indoor, climate‑controlled environment; safe ambulation required.
