Registered Nurse – Cardiac Progressive Care Unit

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching, and delegation of patient activities to other health‑care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process and the environment.
Unit Description:
Dedicated 19‑bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in patients with complex cardiac conditions (CHF, chest pain, atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response). Telemetry‑equipped for continuous cardiac monitoring and capable of managing cardiac drips and stable ventilator patients. Nurses are highly skilled in cardiac care, critical thinking, and delivering exceptional treatment in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associate degree in Nursing required (BSN required within 5 years if not already attained).
Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.
BLS required.
Previous medical‑surgical experience preferred.
Computer proficiency and excellent customer service skills.
