CNA/PCS Orthopedic Unit Full-Time Nights MMH Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Patient Care Specialist (PCS) is responsible for providing supportive patient care. The Unit Assistant facilitates unit operations under the direction of the registered nurse, including clerical work, stocking, ordering, and transporting, as well as specified patient care duties.

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED equivalent

Current license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) by the Florida Board of Nursing

Completion of an approved nursing/medical assistant course, or currently attending an approved nursing program (RN/LPN)

Completion of an approved Unit Secretary course

Current BLS certification
