Dental Hygienist – Axiom Dentistry (Clayton)
Axiom Dentistry in Clayton, NC is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our supportive and friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who values a positive culture, strong teamwork, and a well‑organized schedule that supports quality patient care.
Schedule & Compensation
Monday–Thursday, 7:15am–4:30pm (1-hour lunch)
Occasional Fridays as needed
32–36 hours per week
Competitive hourly pay with production bonus opportunities

Scrubs provided
What You’ll Do
Provide preventive and periodontal care including prophies, SRP, perio maintenance, local anesthesia, and nitrous (if certified)
Perform periodontal charting, radiographs, assessments, and co-diagnosis with the doctor
Maintain accurate digital charting and documentation
Educate patients on oral health, perio disease, and home care
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure excellent patient experiences
Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards
Required Qualifications
Active North Carolina RDH license
Proficiency in periodontal care, assessments, and digital radiographs
Experience with dental software (Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
Strong communication and patient education skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time efficiently
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
Experience with laser therapy, advanced perio care, or salivary diagnostics
Certification in nitrous oxide or laser dentistry
Experience with CBCT, digital scanning, or advanced imaging
Strong case acceptance and patient motivation skills
