Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Houston, TX, for a Behavioral Health Therapist. The Behavioral Health Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating behavioral and mental health conditions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting therapy sessions, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing support to patients and their families as needed. The role may also involve monitoring progress and adapting therapeutic strategies to ensure effective care.
Qualifications
Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Analysis
Strong interpersonal skills for client interactions and collaboration
Background knowledge and practice in psychology
Experience in working with children to address their mental and behavioral health needs
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field (required)
Relevant licensure or certification for clinical practice in Texas (required)
Ability to work empathetically and communicate effectively with diverse populations
Previous experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting is a plus
