Qualified Senior Audit Associate
to join their Bristol audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional to gain exposure to a broad range of clients and sectors, while developing leadership and technical skills in a collaborative, client-focused environment. The role is ideal for someone commercially minded, organised, and proactive, looking to take ownership of audit engagements and contribute to a growing, dynamic team. The Role
Plan and deliver complete audit files, including assessing risks, materiality, and designing testing work programmes Conduct audit fieldwork, documenting findings, unadjusted misstatements, and management letter points Complete audit files and summarise key findings for partners’ review Supervise and support junior team members, assisting in their development Communicate regularly with managers and act as a key point of contact for client teams Liaise with other internal teams, including corporate tax, to deliver integrated client services Monitor budgets and manage multiple engagements to ensure deadlines are met The Ideal Candidate
ACA or ACCA qualified Strong audit experience, including planning and completion Excellent communication and client management skills Commercially aware with strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards Proficient in Excel, Word, and ideally CCH accounts/audit automation tools Organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure Team-oriented with the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously Preferred: driving licence, experience of consolidated accounts, and IFRS knowledge The Team & Office
The Bristol audit team comprises over 40 staff, reporting to six partners. The team handles audits, outsourcing, management accounts, VAT returns, statutory accounts, and ad‑hoc client queries for a varied client base. The office works collaboratively with other national offices to provide seamless services to clients across the UK and internationally. What’s on Offer
