This full‑time position (Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑4:30 pm) is located at University Hospital. The shift includes on‑call hours and holidays. A new‑hire bonus is available for eligible applicants.
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will operate imaging equipment such as x‑ray, fluoroscopy, portable x‑ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. You will prepare patients, explain exams, position them correctly, collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging, follow radiation safety protocols, document patient history, monitor patients for safety, and document necessary information in EMR. You will also assist with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
Qualifications
0‑3 years of relevant experience.
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when routine positioning is not possible.
Active status as a Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R)) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
