Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct‑care givers. Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Position Details
Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO
Department: Operating Room
Status: Full‑Time – 40 hours per week
Shift: 8‑hour days (Mon‑Fri) plus additional call hours
Incentives – Experienced RN
Up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus
No contract required
ASN to BSN bridging program – up to $16,000
BSN to MSN bridging program – up to $16,000
Incentives – New RN
Up to $7,500 sign‑on bonus
No contract required
RN loan forgiveness program – up to $370 per month directly toward loan payments ($20,000 cap)
Must start with Mercy within 12 months of graduation
Qualifications
Experience: 1 year of RN and/or OR experience preferred but not required
Education: Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN from a school of nursing
Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must maintain license and meet state board requirements
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire; additional unit‑specific certifications (e.g., ACLS) as required
Physical requirements: Ability to push, pull, or lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking during shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
