Patient Admissions Coordinator
Providence – Mission Hospital, Mission Viejo, CA. Full‑time, multiple shifts available (Day and Night). Pay range: $24.00 – $30.29 per hour, with potential shift differentials and other compensation.
Responsibilities
Assist patients during on‑site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
Collect accurate demographic information, insurance details, and patient liability where known.
Perform financial clearance functions for assigned scheduled accounts.
Greet and serve patients professionally, fostering positive encounters.
Document all information accurately and in a timely manner while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Patient Access within a business office setting.
Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
Experience utilizing medical terminology in a job setting.
Knowledge of medical billing codes.
At least 1 year of experience with Epic Applications.
