OUTPATIENT PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Job Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient
Rate: Up to $2275.00 weekly
Location: Fayetteville, GA
Day (10H) - Monday-Thursday - No Weekends
Qualifications & Requirements Education
Required a degree in physical therapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
Experience
Minimum (1) one year experience required.
Licenses/Certifications
Must hold a valid state license to practice physical therapy in the state of employment.
AHA BLS certification required.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment : Evaluate patients' physical function and limitations within their home environment to develop individualized treatment plans.
Treatment Implementation : Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and pain management.
Education : Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, safety precautions, equipment use, and home exercise programs.
Collaboration : Work with an interdisciplinary team, including nurses and occupational therapists, to create comprehensive care plans that address the patient's physical, emotional, and social needs.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress according to healthcare standards.
Unit Details: Diagnoses include but not limited to - Ortho, Neuro, Vestibular, & Oncology.
