Position Summary The
CNA
is responsible for providing basic care services to residents while maintaining their dignity, safety, and comfort. CNAs work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and play an essential role in ensuring quality care and a positive experience for each patient.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands‑on care, including assistance with hygiene, grooming, toileting, mobility, and eating.
Help patients adjust to their environment and daily routines.
Maintain resident areas and workspaces in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
Treat patients with kindness, respect, and compassion at all times.
Monitor and report changes in the patients’ conditions to the nurse or supervisor.
Participate in patient care planning and follow established care plans.
Support infection control and safety standards to maintain a healthy environment.
Work collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Current Ohio Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Must be detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Physical & Special Requirements
Ability to lift, bend, stretch, and walk as required by daily duties.
Must maintain good emotional health and demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism.
Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
