Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in meaningful activities. Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping. Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well‑being. Follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and comfort. Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation as needed. Home Health Aide (HHA) Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Valid/verifiable Home Health Aide Certificate from a reputable educational program. Preferred: one year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience. Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Licensed driver with insured reliable automobile plus proof of insurance. Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high‑quality care. Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively. Ability to provide physical support to push/pull, bend, lift, kneel as required and lift up to 50 lbs.
