Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
CHOICE Healthcare Services – the largest provider of pediatric dental care in the Southwest United States – is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
Pay Range: $20.77–$28.00 per hour (based on experience).
The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.
You can fully utilize your RDA skills working with Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists and Anesthesiologists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists the doctor in procedures
Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
Prophylaxis (Prophy) of teeth
Instructs patients on oral hygiene
Charts and treatment plans with doctor
Sterilizes instruments
Sets up and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
Take inter-occlusal records (IO's)
Charting
Applies sealants (if applicable)
Education and/or Experience
Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
California Registered Dental Assistant License
X‑Ray Certification
Coronal Polish Certification required
Current BLS certification
Sealant Certification, preferred
Seniority Level Entry level
