Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is an innovative behavioral health hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix, Arizona metro area. Our 120-bed facility will offer specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co‑occurring addictions. Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Intake, the Intake RN is responsible for the timely processing of inquiry/referral calls, coordination of all admissions processes, and serves as liaison to referral sources, families, payors, physicians, unit and hospital personnel involved with each admission. Duties include, but are not limited to: triage patients, complete assessments to assist the physician in identifying an appropriate level of care for potential patients, staff clinical effectively, enter calls and admissions in the computer, and complete nursing admission paperwork with the patient. This position interfaces closely with internal hospital staff, facility physicians, as well as referring hospitals, patients, families, and community referral sources. The Intake RN also at times is responsible for the verification and prior authorization of insurance benefits as needed. Qualifications

Current license to practice nursing in Arizona or compact privileges. Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting. Must have or be able to attain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Benefits
