Psychologist - Post Doc

Wasatch Behavioral Health . We are seeking to hire a full-time Psychologist - Post Doc to perform a variety of working-level professional clinical and outpatient psychotherapy, psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning functions to provide mental health program services to individuals, groups, and families. Responsibilities
Provides psychological testing and diagnostic services; utilizes various evaluation instruments; performs domestic violence assessments; gathers background information & data; evaluates/assesses mental status; identifies and records emotional functioning and behavioral problems; identifies socialization issues; determines needs related to self help and survival skills; tests clients and determines diagnosis; develops recommendations. Acts as a subject matter expert in giving testimony in court hearings and investigations; attends juvenile court as needed to represent client needs and provide professional opinions related to adolescent/adult status, competency, custody, etc.; provides consultation to judicial and legal personnel. Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an approved college, university or Professional School with a doctorate (PhD/PsyD) degree in psychology. Must be able to register with Utah DOPL as a certified psychologist resident. Preference given to applicants with Autism/ADOS training, and or Spanish language skills Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: $29.96 - $31.01 per hour Sign on / Retention Bonus: $8,000 (Half on first paycheck, Second half after one year of employment). Note: Existing WBH employees are ineligible for the sign on / retention bonus. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Utah Retirement Systems (Pension & 401K options) Public Employee Health Plan Medical and Dental Insurance Employer Provided Health Savings Account (HSA) Contributions 12 Paid Annual Holidays Generous leave time (PTO) Company Paid Life, Short & Long Term Disability Insurance Vision Benefits Plan Scheduled Annual Pay Increases Additional compensation available for Spanish speakers, after testing proficiency.
