We are looking for additional team members to join our Oak Brook/Chicago, IL-area vision center(s). We provide training, free employee LASIK, and offer a competitive salary [$19-$20/hr] to start, as well as lucrative incentive plan(s), a 401k with a match, PTO, paid holidays, pet insurance, comprehensive medical benefits and ongoing professional development opportunities!

Primary Responsibilities
Assist ophthalmologists and optometrists with patient care during visits
Handle a wide range of duties while using equipment to perform the initial testing needed
Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via internal virtual care systems)
Display a professional attitude, greet patients promptly with a smile, and thank them when they leave
Practice urgency at all times with patient’s time, doctor’s time and schedule
Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
Verify patient information by interviewing patient
Record medical history, current medications and confirm purpose of visit
Record all data in the patient’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Required skills include: dilation, refraction, pressures, and performing a variety of diagnostic tests
Demonstrate working knowledge of eye anatomy
Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned by manager
Stand, walk, and sit frequently during the shift
