Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Behavioral Health
Location: Tucson, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Shifts: 8‑Hour Shifts (Day, Evening, Night and Baylor Shifts Available)
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team in a dynamic Behavioral Health setting. As part of our 141‑bed community, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to individuals in a behavioral health environment. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates who are eager to gain experience in behavioral health nursing.
Key Responsibilities
Administering medications (Med Pass) to residents as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
Providing wound care as needed, including assessment, dressing changes, and monitoring for signs of infection.
Implementing and supporting behavioral interventions and therapeutic strategies to help patients manage their condition and improve their quality of life.
Monitoring and documenting patient progress, responses to interventions, and any changes in condition.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for patients in accordance with behavioral health standards.
Ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for patients.
Providing patient education, support, and communication to ensure understanding of treatment plans and healthcare needs.
Qualifications
Current RN or LPN license in AZ.
New graduates are encouraged to apply!
Previous experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing is preferred, but not required.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
Compassionate, patient‑centered approach to care.
Ability to handle challenging situations in a calm, professional manner.
