LPN: $34/hour | RN: $40/hour
Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Evening Supervisor (LPN/RN)
to lead our nursing team during the evening shift. This leadership role is ideal for a compassionate nurse who is passionate about long-term care, enjoys mentoring staff, and is committed to delivering exceptional resident‑centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Director and Associate Director of Nursing to ensure smooth daily operations and regulatory compliance
Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain high-quality resident care
Monitor staffing levels and adjust schedules to ensure safe and effective coverage
Conduct routine rounds, provide coaching and feedback, and communicate observations to leadership
Assist with state surveys and inspections
Support the development and implementation of individualized care and discharge plans
Address staff concerns, complaints, and grievances professionally and promptly
Welcome and support residents and families during the admission process
Accompany physicians on rounds and ensure accurate medication and treatment administration
Provide direct nursing care and assist with resident assessments as needed
Participate in staff evaluations and support the professional development of LPNs and CNAs
Qualifications
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
Active, unrestricted Florida LPN or RN license
Minimum of 2 years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric nursing
At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
Current CPR certification
