Summary Performs administrative/clerical duties in support of an assigned nursing area. The position requires a commitment of three days per week, with 12‑hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
Responsibilities
Assists with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
Assembles and maintains patient records and charts.
Greets patients and visitors.
Monitors, answers, screens, and routes all telephone calls.
Handles emergency alerts, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, faxing, filing, and ordering/obtaining supplies.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Requires familiarity with medical terminology. No prior work experience required.
