Job Description Client: Orlando Health

Duration: Perm - 20%

Hours: Standard shift = 4x10s, with 1 static day off per week (7:30am-6pm)

Interview: 1 virtual interview + 1 shadow day at facility.

Pay rate: Dependent on experience, up to discretion upon interview.

RN Ambulatory: $25-40 MAX. Mid range = 33

Doctor Phillips: 3 openings (9400 Turkey Lake Rd, Orlando, FL, 32819)

St Cloud: 1 opening (2906 17th St, St Cloud, FL, 34769)

Downtown Orlando: 4 openings (52 W Underwood St, Orlando, FL 32806)

Health Central (Ocoee): 1 opening (10000 W Colonial Dr, Ocoee, FL 34761)

Float pool between locations: 3 openings

About the Role The Ambulatory RN role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. Nurses typically manage 7–14 prescheduled patients per day for a variety of treatments.

Responsibilities

Place IVs or access ports, draw and send labs.

Perform patient assessments and document in EPIC.

Determine if patient is cleared for chemotherapy or other therapies after lab results.

Release patient in EPIC and notify pharmacy for medication preparation.

Premedicate patients with antihistamines, anti‑nausea medications, steroids as ordered.

Monitor patients during treatment and complete post‑treatment tasks, including removing IV or port access and safely discharging the patient.

Skills and Requirements

1 year RN experience.

Active RN license in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

BLS Certification.

EPIC experience.
