UHP's best-in-class clinical program covers three sub-specialties (urology, gastroenterology, and radiation oncology) and offers numerous ancillary services, including pathology lab, in-office dispensing, and chronic care management. We are led by a highly accomplished management team and provide a full suite of management services to its affiliated practices. UHP is currently affiliated with 154 providers consisting of 110 physicians and 44 advanced practice providers operating out of 50 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California. Position Summary
The Medical Assistant supports patient care delivery by working cooperatively with all team members in planning, performing, assisting with procedures, appointments, patient relations, follow up care, and other tasks as requested by a physician. This is a Temporary position from time of hire until September 2026 What You Will Be Doing
Provide direct patient care, assist with procedures, and administer injections. Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain equipment. Perform chart prep, upload medical records, and manage authorizations. Support scheduling, prescription refills, and front office tasks. Monitor and restock supplies to maintain clinical readiness. What You Will Bring To The Team
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical field Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion is a plus Phlebotomy Certificate is a plus Healthcare experience preferred including Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system experience. Bilingual-Spanish is a plus. Knowledge and experience in specialty they are applying to is a plus Knowledge of HIPAA laws What We Can Offer You
