Occupational Therapist (OT)
Fulltime position at Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) in Lewiston, ME. Schedule: Days, 8:00 – 4:30 pm.
How You'll Contribute The Occupational Therapist in the acute hospital rehabilitation unit evaluates patients with acute illness, injury, or post-surgical conditions and develops individualized treatment plans to restore functional abilities and promote safe independence in daily activities. The OT provides evidence‑based therapeutic interventions, collaborates closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, and educates patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment to support recovery and discharge planning. This role requires timely and accurate documentation, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and a patient‑centered approach to care in a fast‑paced acute care environment.

What We're Looking For
Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Occupational Therapist license in the State
Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association
Effective oral and written communication skills in English with additional languages preferred
