Responsibilities:

Provide nutritional care to patients, including screening, nutrition assessment, care plan development, ongoing nutrition intervention, nutrition counseling, and diet education in accordance with department and medical center policies and procedures.

Oversee the care provided by dietetic technicians and serve as the primary link between patient care units, staff, patients, and the Department.

Organize work and set priorities to plan programs that meet the priority nutrition and customer service needs of the patient population served.

Develop outreach activities and selective program planning.
